In his video, Russell shared that he had many discussions with CEO Venky Mysore and Shah Rukh Khan before taking this decision. While the cricketer was released by KKR recently after a dip in performance numbers, he still remains one of the most impactful players in IPL history. Fans warmly call him “Muscle Russell” for his powerful batting and unforgettable match-winning moments.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh was last seen in the films Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. He also made a cameo in his son Aryan Khan’s debut series The Ba*ds of Bollywood”**.
